A Working Hyperdrive in 5 years!!

The hyperdrive is based on the theories of Burkhard Heim. You create a magnetic field around a spaceship. The spaceships moves into another dimension where faster than light travel is possible. When you reach your destination you turn off the field and return to normal space. The American Institute of Aeronautics gave a award to a paper based upon this theory in 2004. One of the scientist Jochem Hauser said that a working engine could be tested in 5 years. Here is a link to a forum of people who discount the idea.
